George has been actively involved with music since his early teens when he first picked up a Bass Guitar and became totally immersed in the instrument.
He spent much of those early years performing with various bands throughout south east Queensland.
Apart from performing with several high profile bands he was also involved in a number of advertising projects and played on various 'jingles' over the years.
Far North Queensland and it's warmer climate beckoned and in the late 80's a move to Cairns presented some interesting work at many of the premier resort destinations that the far north had to offer.
George experienced many different styles of music and musicians during this time and these influences further ignited his musical passion as well as adding more sources to his list of 'musical influences'.
'Montserrat' has presented another direction to George's musical journey and he has found himself drawn to
Jimmy Buffet's view of life.
With an easy going nature and laid-back disposition coupled to outstanding musicianship George is perfectly suited to 'Montserrat' and the songs of Jimmy Buffett.
