Geoff (J.D. Buffett) Stephens began his career at age 15 around Melbourne in various cover bands,
In the mid 80's Geoff became an island dweller when he gained employment on the entertainment team at
Great Keppel Island Resort during the now infamous “Get wrecked” days.
He soon gained the position of Entertainment Manager and revelled in 7 years of “Island time”, it was during this time he developed a passion for Jimmy Buffett songs..
From there he performed as resident muso at Falls Creek (solo) and Perisher Valley (Duo) in “The Band from Snowy River”.
For 7 years he performed solo around Brisbane/Sunshine & Gold Coast venues as “J.D.” and upon relocating to the Sunshine Coast, he appeared in successful club acts “Monkeezunkle”, “All about Angles” and more recently with “NUT SHAK”.
J.D. has always had a natural ability to “work an audience” and loves nothing more than to share the party vibe with those who are up for a great time.
